Politically neutral. Every candidate on this ballot gets the same sections. The party shown is the one the ballot lists. A section is missing only where we haven't yet found an official source for it. How we stay neutral

The Tribune's questionnaire lists Melling's occupation as psychiatric nurse practitioner. Education is not stated there. [1]
In her own words: the Tribune questionnaire
Melling says voters lost trust when government lost touch with them, and criticizes the Legislature for following national party pressure, gerrymandering, data center policies and weakening the judiciary. She wants fair maps, clean water and air, and balanced power among branches. [1]
On affordability she wants tax burdens rebalanced; she says taxes for Eagle Mountain families rose 183 percent while data centers received tax breaks, and she proposes tax law that favors small businesses and working families. On water she supports evidence-based, urgent action and community education. She answered Against on both Constitutional Amendment A and Amendment B. The Tribune notes Maloy did not answer the questionnaire. [1]
