Politically neutral. Every candidate on this ballot gets the same sections. The party shown is the one the ballot lists. A section is missing only where we haven't yet found an official source for it. How we stay neutral
Luke Searle is a candidate for Utah House, District 59. The ballot lists Luke Searle, Republican. The district covers all or part of Summit and Wasatch counties.
KPCW reported in 2022 that Luke Searle was an assistant to the Heber City manager, working on projects including the Heber City Leadership Academy and community outreach for the city and airport, when he first ran for county office. In December 2025 KPCW reported he teaches business at the Wasatch County School District's Center for Advanced Professional Studies. He was elected in 2022 as one of two at-large council members; the county directory lists Seat A with a term through 2026. [2] [3] [1]
KPCW reported that on the council he focused on the cost of living for older residents and backed a stronger tax abatement program for residents over 65. Announcing a run for Utah House District 59 in December 2025, he said he would focus on property tax reform, school curricula that prepare students for careers, the cost of living and limiting the size of government. These are his own statements as reported, not Ledger conclusions. [3]
