    Westside development pipeline: intent statement

    Approved · 6-1

The council adopted an intent statement putting developers and property owners on notice that it intends to clarify and implement the Westside Development Policies and Southwest Area Future Land Use Map. The statement says the council anticipates it will be difficult to find proposed rezones in that area appropriate while the policies are under consideration, that all applications will still be handled under the law, and encourages developers to hold proposals until the effort concludes. Council Member David Sewell voted no.
