Waste Management recycling changes: every-other-week collection (Resolution 20-29C)
Denied · 6-1
Public Works Director Mike Gladbach and Blake Leonelli of Waste Management presented a proposal to move recycling pickup to every other week. Don Cann said some neighbors do not fill recycling cans with appropriate materials; he supports recycling but wants the plan stopped. Council Member Brooke Christensen moved to adopt the resolution, but the motion died for lack of a second. A motion to deny was then made and carried; Christensen was the one no vote.
