Form Based Code amendments: multifamily entrances, bicycle parking and minor site-plan changes
Approved · 5-0
The council approved an ordinance amending Sections 17.171.050, 17.171.080 and 17.171.100 of the Murray City Center Form Based Code. Community and Economic Development Director Chad Wilkinson said the amendment would let the Architecture Review Committee allow alternative primary entrances for ground-floor multifamily units under four conditions, including access from a secured interior corridor and a connection to structured parking. He said the bicycle-parking requirement should be 0.05 stalls per bedroom, not 0.5, and that planning staff could approve site-plan changes under 10 percent, the director changes of 10 to 20 percent, and the committee larger ones. No one spoke at the hearing.
