Clinton West Focus Area Plan

In review

Northwest Clinton

A proposed addendum to the Clinton general plan that sets a future land use map for the northwest part of the city, largely the area covered by the West Clinton annexation. Staff recommends adoption to guide development inquiries and infrastructure planning. It was before the council in a work session on Oct. 13.

Annexation

West Clinton annexation

Approved

Near 2425 North and 4500 West · 155 acres

An annexation of about 155 acres that closes an unincorporated gap between Clinton and West Point. The draft agreement proposed A-1 agricultural zoning for most of the area, R-1-10 for one property and R-M for another. City documents in October describe the annexation as recently approved.
