Decisions at a glance

Agenda, item by item

  1. Contract

    Tyler Technologies reservation software

    Approved · 5-0

The council voted 5-0 to approve the purchase of reservation software from Tyler Technologies, as presented by staff. The software is meant to let residents see pavilion availability and reserve online. The minutes do not state a final purchase total. Staff said it did not plan to change the field reservation policy. A councilmember said she wanted a policy letting residents reserve pavilions first; the motion covered only the purchase. This is a purchase approval, not evidence that online booking has launched.

Moved by Council Member Higginson, seconded by Council Member Bahr. Vote: 5-0; recorded yes votes: Bahr, Bell, Child, Higginson and Murri

  2. Contract

ECI engineering increase for I-15 power-line relocation

    Approved · 5-0

The council voted 5-0 to approve an additional $43,300 for ECI to provide engineering services for the UDOT I-15 reconstruction project, bringing the stated total to $207,000. The power director said more poles than first expected had to be relocated, that UDOT will reimburse the city for the added engineering expense and that the final budget will be amended. That is a statement of expectation, not a record of reimbursement.

    • Change order$43,300 to ECI Additional engineering services for I-15 power-line relocation (approved increase; stated total $207,000; not a payment record)

Moved by Council Member Bell, seconded by Council Member Child. Vote: 5-0; recorded yes votes: Bahr, Bell, Child, Higginson and Murri

  3. Contract

TAPP steel transmission poles for I-15 reconstruction

    Approved · 5-0

The council voted 5-0 to approve the bid from TAPP of $138,016 for transmission steel poles for the UDOT I-15 reconstruction project. The power director said the poles will not be delivered until October 2027 and that UDOT was comfortable with that timeline. This approves the bid; delivery has not occurred.

    • Purchase$138,016 to TAPP Steel transmission poles for I-15 reconstruction (bid approved; not a payment record). Bid approved

Moved by Council Member Bahr, seconded by Council Member Murri. Vote: 5-0; recorded yes votes: Bahr, Bell, Child, Higginson and Murri
