The vote was 4-1. The separate request to reduce the fees was tabled at the same meeting.
- Location: approximately 1150 South 500 West, parcel 1-7A-123. The agenda describes a building with eight 2-bedroom and twenty 1-bedroom condos deed-restricted to owner occupancy for five years.
- The developer's representative said the impact fees total $313,000 and that the project is funded by a loan from the Utah Housing Corporation that requires a building permit before funds are released.
- A separate proposal to reduce the impact fees by $200,000 was tabled to the Aug. 11 meeting by a unanimous roll call vote. Councilmember Kip Hansen said he opposed any deferral.
