Work

The Tribune's questionnaire describes Hollist as the former general counsel for Weber State University, who also taught government ethics for more than 10 years. [1]

In their own words: the Tribune questionnaire

On trust, Hollist says public trust is eroding because decisions seem self-serving and pledges openness, honesty and inclusion. On affordability she would cut inefficient or special-interest programs and pass tax breaks without unfunded mandates that push costs onto counties and schools. [1]

On water she would vet data centers' water impact and support recycling, drip irrigation and user coordination, and is open to exploring piping. She said she would also address independent entities like MIDA, data centers, housing and education. She declined to answer on Constitutional Amendments A and B. [1]
