Megan McKenna serves on the Summit County Council. Her county biography says she graduated from Park City High School in 1999, holds a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry and a master's in science teaching, patrolled at the Canyons while in college, and taught high school earth science, biology and AP environmental science for 11 years in the Park City School District.
The council unanimously adopted Resolution 2026-23 on Oct. 7. It says the law lets landowners form a city without a public vote and could leave counties with the costs.
