Greg Wilding serves on the Bluffdale City Council; the roster lists his term as January 2024 through December 2027. His official biography describes study in engineering and surveying at Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah, work at Wilding Engineering and eventual purchase of the firm with partners after its 2003 move to Bluffdale, a roughly 30-year career in land development and work with municipal governments, youth mentoring and chairing volunteer committees for the Division of Wildlife Resources. Career and committee claims are the biography's, undated.
The City Council voted 4-1 in June to raise the residential public safety fee to $16.20 a month, with the same percentage increase for businesses and apartments. The budget projects $1,224,000 from the fee, up from $750,000. The city's rates page still listed 2024 fees on Oct. 16.
