In the candidate's own words

The Tribune reports that Benyde Walker, the Democratic candidate in the open House District 48 seat, is a first-time candidate, former educator and photographer for Young Living Essential Oils. [1]

In the survey, Walker says the campaign is about honesty and putting the community first, and calls for policies that put families ahead of investors, including keeping private equity from buying starter homes. Walker calls for full transparency on data centers and for requiring them to use technology that avoids draining water, and supports strengthening public schools while preserving parental choice. Walker declined to answer the questions on Amendment A and Amendment B. [1]
