How minutes work. Minutes are the official record of a meeting. The council approves them at a later meeting, so the newest meetings have only an agenda, or draft minutes, until then. Meetings marked Approved minutes are written from that approved record. Ones marked Agenda only describe what was scheduled; we add the results once the minutes are posted.

Vineyard council takes up resolution to end Flock license plate camera use, an ADU compliance ordinance and three land sales
The agenda for Vineyard's Oct. 27 council meeting included Resolution 2026-43, requested by Council Member Jacob Wood, directing the city to end its use of Flock Safety license plate cameras. The cameras in Vineyard are provided through the Utah County Sheriff's Office's agreement with Flock, not a city contract. The council also considered an accessory dwelling unit ordinance to comply with SB 284 and resolutions selling three insignificant city land parcels. The Utah Ledger's reporting, based on the Salt Lake Tribune, says the vote on the Flock resolution was 4-0; minutes had not been posted when this was written.

Vineyard council awards parking enforcement to EZ Park, creates economic partnership and pedestrian safety commission, holds off on aquifer council and Geneva pond letter
All five Vineyard council members voted yes on every item. The council awarded the Providence and Springs neighborhood parking enforcement contract to EZ Park, created the Vineyard Economic Development Partnership, and renamed the Active Transportation Commission the Pedestrian Safety Commission with a Dec. 31, 2027 sunset. It struck a proposed $12,000 membership in the North Utah County Aquifer Council pending a work session, and tabled Resolution 2026-36 opposing the Geneva retention pond land exchange until the next meeting. A code enforcement update said 26 unauthorized short-term rentals have been closed.
