Salt Lake City had 19 flights and St. George nine, according to the nonprofit ICE Flight Monitor, which counts flights that move detainees between U.S. facilities.

The city says 18 repeat samples from Oct. 21 to 23 were negative for E. coli, and it believes the first positive result came from localized contamination near the sampling spot.
