Ten residents spoke on capital requests, mostly traffic calming and pedestrian safety (Rose Park Elementary routes, Hubbard Avenue, the 1700 South byway, West Temple and Mead Avenue), a parklet median conversion and a Jordan River to Chapman Library greenway. In general comment, four residents raised westside sidewalks, trees and shade, Great Salt Lake shoreline conservation, and the fairness of the short-term rental licensing process for existing operators.
