How minutes work. Minutes are the official record of a meeting. The council approves them at a later meeting, so the newest meetings have only an agenda, or draft minutes, until then. Meetings marked Approved minutes are written from that approved record. Ones marked Agenda only describe what was scheduled; we add the results once the minutes are posted.

Grantsville council tables the Alington PUD until one entity owns the land and passes waterwise landscaping rules on the mayor's tiebreaker
At its rescheduled Oct. 5 meeting the Grantsville City Council voted 3-1 to table the Alington planned unit development (about 948 East Main Street) and its master development agreement until the project shows a single ownership entity, as the city's land use code requires. The council passed a waterwise landscaping ordinance for new development on a 2-2 tie broken by Mayor Heidi Hammond, approved a phased energy brokerage agreement for a wastewater plant solar project, and heard from consultant FFKR about a roughly 15-month general plan update. Councilmember Brittany Skinner was excused. These are the final approved minutes.
