Riverdale's tentative budget proposed a $120,000 property tax increase; in June the council accepted the certified rate
Riverdale's May tentative budget proposed raising property tax revenue by $120,000, or 6.89%. On June 16 the City Council unanimously accepted the certified rate of 0.001386 calculated by the Weber County Auditor, and the draft minutes do not mention an increase.
Riverdale's move to Weber Fire District: the projected savings, the corrected hearing and the open terms
Riverdale city staff projected about $1 million a year in savings from moving fire service to the Weber Fire District. The district repeated its hearing after finding a notice step had been missed, and the city's tax offset, building lease and employee terms are not yet in a public agreement.
