Audits and compliance
Perry's fiscal 2025 audit: two findings, including fund balance over the allowable limit
Minutes of Perry's Feb. 12, 2026 council meeting record that the city's auditor issued an unqualified opinion on its fiscal 2025 statements and reported two findings: the city exceeded its allowable fund balance, as in the prior year, and a June investment report to the state used December figures.
Perry's fiscal 2024 audit gave no opinion on the city's flood control units
Perry's auditor gave unmodified opinions on the city's main funds for fiscal 2024 but did not express an opinion on its two flood control component units, whose statements had not been audited.
