Paradise council buys three sets of firefighter turnouts for $14,821 and discusses a walking path at the new park
At its Oct. 7 meeting the Paradise Town Council approved buying three sets of firefighter turnout gear from Sea Western for $14,821 rather than the lower $13,725 bid from LN Curtis, because the fire department preferred Sea Western's quality and the vendor ships the sets together. The council also discussed funding for a walking path at the new park and recent water leak repairs. Two council members were excused and no community members attended.
