Adopt the Ogden City Sewer Master Plan (Resolution 2024-10)

    Approved · 5-0

The plan, prepared by Sunrise Engineering since 2022, replaces the 2013 plan and lists capacity and maintenance needs, state compliance gaps and prioritized projects. The Planning Commission recommended adoption after a June 5 hearing. Council discussion focused on scheduling sewer work alongside larger street projects. A property owner asked whether owners are charged to upsize water and sewer service lines when a new tenant moves in; City Engineer Taylor Nielsen said permitting staff review fixture counts and line capacity, that the city installs new laterals to the curb during street projects, and that sewer lines past the main are the owner's responsibility.
