In their own words: the Tribune questionnaire
Nematollahi wrote that, as a Forward Party candidate, he answers to constituents, not party bosses. On housing affordability, he wrote that fixable homes should be repaired, and on food and fuel costs he called for reducing tariffs and ending unnecessary foreign wars. On water, he wrote that all stakeholders, including Native American nations, should be included in policy decisions. His other priorities were preventing new large data centers and abolishing the state tax on Social Security. [1]
The candidate answered for on Constitutional Amendment A (publishing proposed amendments on state websites) and against on Amendment B (60 percent voter approval for citizen initiatives that raise taxes). [1]
