Background
Pam Leach worked in real-estate escrow and investment in California before moving to Rockville. Her community volunteering led to an invitation from then-Mayor Dan McGuire to run for the Town Council. By 2016, she had served three council terms and acted as mayor pro tempore under two administrations. That year, she was appointed to fill a midterm mayoral vacancy, becoming Rockville’s first woman mayor.
