Background
Matthew L. Bell was appointed to the Fifth District Court in 2017. He previously served as a federal prosecutor in Utah and a trial attorney in the Justice Department's Antitrust Division. Before law school, he worked as a St. George police officer. He earned a law degree at BYU.
