In the candidate's own words

The Tribune reports that Lillian Bowles, the Democratic challenger to Rep. Candice Pierucci in House District 49, is described on the campaign website as a community leader and advocate. [1]

In the survey, Bowles says public education changed what was possible as a first-generation college graduate, and wants Utah to recruit and retain educators, strengthen special education and invest in accountable public schools. Bowles proposes addressing institutional investors competing with families for homes, using underused land for affordable and transitional housing, and a stopgap for families losing child care assistance. Bowles supports water-efficient development and says conserved water must actually reach the Great Salt Lake. Bowles did not respond on Amendment A and opposes Amendment B. [1]
