In the candidate's words
These are O'Dell's answers to the newspaper's questions, not checked by us. O'Dell says "My main priority is influencing the government back in the direction of sound governance" and "Decisions belong at the local level whenever possible." The paper lists a balanced budget with no new debt for non-essential programs, repealing unfunded mandates, sound money principles, closing over-allocated drainage basins to new water appropriations, and continuing voluntary, compensated programs that lease water rights to the Great Salt Lake. The paper says the Republican incumbent did not respond to its questions. [1]
