Background

Edward Flint is described in the Women's Democratic Club of Southern Utah's candidate biography as a St. George criminal-defense attorney with more than four decades of practice in Utah state and federal courts. That account credits him with taking 121 cases through jury selection to verdict and says his courtroom career has been in defense rather than prosecution. His professional directory biography lists a 1985 law degree from the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law and describes earning two degrees at the university.
