Education and career

The campaign website lists a B.S. in business administration and marketing from Utah State University with a minor in political science, and an MBA from USU's Huntsman School of Business. It says Saxton was district director for U.S. Rep. Burgess Owens for about four years, with the office helping bring nearly $20 million to infrastructure and public safety projects in Kearns, Taylorsville, West Jordan and West Valley City, and was Riverton City's director of communications for five years and a marketing manager for USU Extension. [1]

Party and community service

The site says Saxton has been a precinct chair, county delegate and state delegate, was student body vice president at Utah State, and was named a Kearns Amazing Volunteer in 2025 by the Kearns Community Council. [1]

Stated priorities

These are the candidate's own statements from the campaign website, not checked by The Utah Ledger. Saxton describes the campaign as a "common sense conservative" and says the West Side "sometimes gets the short end of the stick." The site links separate priorities and supporters pages that we could not read. [1]

Public service

His campaign site says Saxton earned business administration and marketing degrees at Utah State University and completed a Utah State MBA through evening and weekend classes while working full time. It lists five years as Riverton City's communications director, earlier marketing work for USU Extension and his current job as district director for U.S. Rep. Burgess Owens. [2]
