In the candidate's own words
The Tribune notes that Cabot W. Nelson grew up in West Valley City and has run for office under the former United Utah Party. In his survey answers he calls electoral reform his singular issue and backs ranked-choice voting. [1]
Nelson would require state mandates allowing multifamily housing in all residential zoning. He opposes the Legislature's utility relief plan, proposes taxing water rights while letting owners keep them unused, and supports exploring universal basic income. He supports Amendment A and opposes Amendment B. [1]
