Background

Bryan Sprague is Aurora’s mayor, following service on its City Council. In a 2025 Utah League of Cities and Towns nomination questionnaire, he described more than 30 years representing and advocating for public-school employees. That work took him into both large and small school districts and involved school boards and legislative bodies. Sprague described himself as retired and emphasized experience working with urban and rural communities. The questionnaire placed him on the council during 2025; Aurora’s May 18, 2026, meeting record identifies him as mayor.
