The Sandy City Council minutes, as summarized by The Utah Ledger, name Brooke D'Sousa among the members voting no on 9 agenda items. Minutes do not always record each member's vote, so this list does not show how Brooke D'Sousa voted on other items. On a motion to deny, table or continue, a no vote is a vote against that motion. It is not a score or a rating.

Background
Sandy's city page lists Brooke D'Sousa's current at-large term as January 2026 to December 2030, with council service since January 2022. Her committee assignments include the South Valley Chamber of Commerce Board, the Council of Governments, the Senior Center Advisory Council and the Healthy Sandy Steering Committee, and she is an alternate on two others. The page says she earned a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Utah, worked more than 17 years in banking and financial services, and is now a residential real estate broker.
On Aug. 11, 2026, motions for a $30 million and a $21 million ballot amount each failed 3-4 before the council adopted the $30 million resolution 6-1 on reconsideration. At the Sept. 22 hearing, the finance director projected about $5 a month for the average home.
