Council and regional service

Bev Uipi serves on the Millcreek City Council and is the city's representative on the Central Wasatch Commission, which links Millcreek's local decisions to regional work on the mountains above the Wasatch Front. [1] [2]

Earlier public service and education

Before her council service, Uipi was deputy director of the state Board of Pardons and Parole, managed the Millcreek Community Center, which the commission says reached national accreditation under her in 2015, and handled community relations for Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon. Her career began in State Farm management, and she later opened her own American Family Insurance agency. [2]

The commission's biography lists bachelor's degrees in consumer economics and housing from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah. [2]
