Ridgeline's Noah Fiefia rushed for seven touchdowns Friday night as the Riverhawks beat Bear River 56-30 in Garland to finish the regular season 10-0, the Herald Journal reported. [1]

Fiefia scored on runs of 9, 27, 7, 4, 1, 23 and 95 yards, the newspaper reported. He has passed 2,000 rushing yards this season and has 36 rushing touchdowns, and the Herald Journal said he has scored at least three touchdowns in six straight games. [1]

Ridgeline (10-0, 7-0) led 27-10 at halftime. Bear River (6-4, 4-3) closed to 27-17 early in the third quarter, but Ridgeline answered with back-to-back touchdowns, the second a pass from Crew Cox to Brock Merkley. [1]

"Great game," Ridgeline coach Travis Cox said. "Our run game took over and was fun to watch." The Herald Journal said the win gave Ridgeline its third consecutive outright Region 11 title and that the team is expected to be the top seed in the 4A state championships, which start the final Friday of October.
