A paraglider went down on the west side of Mount Timpanogos in Utah County on Saturday morning and was airlifted off the mountain, Gephardt Daily reported. [1]

The incident was reported at about 9:49 a.m. Sgt. Edwards of the Utah County Sheriff's Office said a witness saw the man "getting up under his own power, trying to hike back up the mountain." [1]

Edwards said the man was conscious and alert and had moderate injuries. A helicopter hoisted him off the mountain, and he then drove himself by personal vehicle to receive medical treatment, Edwards said. [1]
