The Little Lambs Foundation for Kids has broken ground on a new Diaper Bank and Community Resource Center in Logan, the Herald Journal reported. The 12,000-square-foot facility will move the group from its current location into a larger warehouse space, with more storage, a volunteer center and education, community and family spaces. [1]

Executive Director Ted Chalfant wrote in a news release that classrooms and private meeting areas will give staff more opportunities to listen to parents and help families find services. Chalfant noted the foundation still needs donations to complete the center. Sponsors so far include the Utah Legislature, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nucor, Cartwright Engineers, the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, the Sorenson Legacy Foundation, the Bruce and Cecilia Petersen Foundation and Red Iron Industries. [1]

Founded in July 2014 and operated by Ted and Stefanee Chalfant, Little Lambs provides free diapers to low-income families. It also runs a teen-parent resource center and provides hygiene kits and comfort kits for children entering foster care. The foundation said a recent mobile pantry event in Box Elder County served 119 families. [1]
