The final 2.7-mile segment of the 24-mile Canyon-2-Canyon Trail is finished, completing the paved path that runs from Bryce Point in Bryce Canyon National Park to Red Canyon in the Dixie National Forest, KSL.com reported. The work ended a year-long project. [1]

According to the National Park Service, the path connects several of the park's most visited spots, including the Visitor Center, Sunrise Point, the Lodge, Inspiration Point and some campground sites. [1]

The trail is open to pedestrians, cyclists, wheelchair users, leashed pets, non-motorized scooters, skaters and longboarders, and in season to cross-country skiers. E-bikes are allowed under National Park Service guidelines. The Federal Highway Administration and the National Park Service worked together on the project. [1]
