Utah’s cycling culture

Cyclists at a Tour of Utah event in an archival photograph. No race date, rider identity or upcoming edition is inferred.

Choose the ride before the distance

A separated path, a city street and a mountain-road climb call for different plans. Look at the route surface, traffic exposure, elevation changes and turnaround options before choosing a ride. An archival race photograph is not a recommendation to ride that road today.

Use current route information

Visit Salt Lake’s cycling information is a starting point for destination ideas. Check the responsible city, trail manager or road agency for closures and access before leaving. UDOT Traffic covers state-road conditions.

A race photo is a piece of history

The Tour of Utah photograph above is presented as a file image. It does not establish a current race schedule, a rider’s identity or that an organized ride is taking place.
