Temple Square, in downtown Salt Lake City, is a downtown square of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints centered on the Salt Lake Temple. Visitors can see the grounds, exhibits, historic buildings and scheduled music performances.
Visiting the square is different from entering the temple, which is not open for ordinary public tours. Which buildings are open depends on the phase of the ongoing renovation work, so the church's visitor page is the place to check before you go.
