Tracy Aviary is a Salt Lake City bird park and conservation organization at Liberty Park, 589 East 1300 South. It says it is the largest and oldest of only two free-standing aviaries in the United States, and it is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. [1]

The aviary opened to the public on July 2, 1938, built around the personal bird collection of banker Russell Lord Tracy, who donated it to the city and stayed involved until his death in 1945. A 2009 remodel added exhibits for king vultures, macaws, hawks and North American owls, and the Treasures of the Rainforest exhibit followed in 2016. In 2020 the organization opened a second campus in South Salt Lake, originally called the Jordan River Nature Center and renamed the Nature Center at Pia Okwai in 2024. [1]
