Switchpoint describes its model in three parts. Emergency shelter, open around the clock, is the first step rather than the end point. Each person is assigned a case manager, with help that includes behavioral health support, employment preparation classes and access to laundry and bathrooms, coordinated through a statewide partner network. The third part is deeply affordable permanent housing paired with ongoing support. [1]

The page also refers to companies that power its mission, meaning enterprises run alongside the shelter. This is the organization's own description of its design, not a measure of outcomes. [1]
