The foundation says it has operated since its inception in 2007 and has brought more than $82 million to the Park City area. It lists five core activities: thought leadership, philanthropic services for donors, grantmaking with priority on issues such as housing and mental wellness, convening the community, and nonprofit education. Its donor-advised funds let donors recommend grants over time while the foundation handles investment, compliance and administration and checks that each recipient is a nonprofit with a charitable mission. Its page says grants go to organizations, not individuals, and opening a fund takes a contribution of $25,000 or more. [2]
