The college's current official name is Ogden-Weber Technical College, abbreviated OTECH. Its history page says it opened in April 1971 as Skills Center North, became the Ogden-Weber Area Vocational Center after moving under the Utah State Office of Education in 1982, and took the name Ogden-Weber Applied Technology Center in the early 1990s. It was incorporated into Weber State College in 1975 and became a stand-alone Utah College of Applied Technology campus in 2001. [1]

Utah's Legislature funds Custom Fit each year, and OTECH administers the money for Weber County. Its employer page says companies can get reimbursement of up to 40 percent of approved training costs, and training can happen at the employer's site, on campus or at a partner site. The page lists a company eligibility application and a separate training and reimbursement request. [2]
