Deseret Power

Deseret Power is a regional generation and transmission cooperative. It supplies power to member retail electric systems and sells surplus energy, placing it upstream from the local utilities that serve individual homes and businesses. Its role combines electricity supply with the infrastructure used to move power across a regional network. [1] [2] [3]

The cooperative lists its headquarters on South Jordan Gateway in South Jordan. Its member structure distinguishes it from a utility dealing only with its own residential accounts. The Utah corporate office supports a business whose customer relationships center on other electric systems and whose physical operations extend beyond the headquarters. [1] [2] [3]
