Background and business

Cache Valley Bank began on October 2, 1975, as North Park Bank of Commerce. Its history describes an ownership and leadership change in 1982, followed by the Cache Valley Bank name and a move from North Logan to Logan Main Street. The bank identifies its Logan Main branch as its headquarters. [1] [2]

The bank serves personal and business customers and lists commercial lending, mortgage lending and treasury-management services. Its own history records the 2017 purchase of Proficio Bank and later branch expansion. Separately, the Ledger's SunFirst history describes Cache Valley Bank's role in the 2011 FDIC resolution; that historical purchase does not transfer the failed bank's misconduct to the purchaser.
