Corinne council hears pitches from two garbage haulers ahead of its January contract expiration

October 6, 2026

At its Oct. 6 meeting the Corinne City Council heard from Clean Slate Garbage Company, a Logan business that wants to be considered when the city's contract with Republic Services expires in January, and then from Republic Services, which asked to continue and extend. The mayor invited Republic to present at the November meeting. The council also heard a sheriff's report and a fire department report of 14 calls in September, 11 of them outside city limits, and learned a Methodist church restoration project received a $12,500 grant from Box Elder Tourism.
