In the candidate's own words

According to his website, as cited by the Tribune, Thomas Loveheart works with incarcerated young people at the Southwest Utah Youth Center. The Tribune mentions no prior public office. [1]

In his survey answers, Loveheart says politicians have made deals favoring real estate, mining and oil interests and that corporate PACs shape elections. He proposes public housing with income-based rents, taxing data center emissions to fund community-owned clean energy co-ops, restoring the Medicaid expansion and repealing the state's wage-preemption law. He calls for enforceable Great Salt Lake protections and reform of the "use it or lose it" water law. He opposes both Amendment A and Amendment B. [1]

These are the candidate's own survey answers as printed by the Tribune, not checked by The Utah Ledger. [1]
