In the candidate's own words

The Tribune describes James Rich as the leader of a company that provides information technology consulting and software to businesses. In the survey, Rich describes a career building technology solutions to help businesses understand their expenses and revenues. [1]

Rich points to "outright falsehoods spoken repeatedly" at the federal level and to state elected officials "ignoring and even trying to overturn the plain will of the people," and wants a transparent, understandable tax system to identify areas where taxes can be reduced. Rich would amend Utah's "use it or lose it" laws so farmers keep their water rights when they conserve, supports starter homes including small-lot houses, townhomes, condos and owner-occupied duplexes, and opposes both Amendment A and Amendment B. [1]

These are the candidate's own survey answers as printed by the Tribune, not checked by The Utah Ledger. [1]
