In the candidate's own words

The Tribune reports that Dave Calder is an Air Force veteran who was previously a Republican and a Davis County delegate and left the party after it nominated Donald Trump. [1]

In the survey, Calder says the Legislature allows unlimited corporate campaign donations, that no corporate donations have been taken and none will be, and that "We need to elevate people's voices over corporations." Calder would end the state's tax on food, incentivize smaller homes on smaller lots, and supports reducing water consumption by one-third to one-half and leasing or buying water for the Great Salt Lake. Calder opposes the Legislature's fight against the Better Boundaries initiative, supports Amendment A and opposes Amendment B. [1]

These are the candidate's own survey answers as printed by the Tribune, not checked by The Utah Ledger. [1]
