Brian Horrocks was elected mayor of North Salt Lake in 2021 and re-elected to a second term in 2025. The city says he serves on its Audit Committee, the South Davis Metro Fire Service Area Board, the Davis County Mosquito Abatement Board, the South Davis Sewer District Board and the Wasatch Integrated Waste Management Board. Before becoming mayor he served on the City Council; Ted Knowlton was appointed in 2022 to fill the remainder of his council term.
North Salt Lake's fiscal 2025 audit records $2,921,931 owed by the Eaglewood golf fund to the capital projects fund for subsidies from 1994 through 2020. The city expects to set a repayment schedule in a future year.
