In their own words: the Tribune questionnaire
Choberka wrote that voters lose trust when government feels more responsive to special interests than to the people it serves, and that Utah families deserve an economy where a paycheck can cover the basics. On water, she wrote that Utah's growth has to match the water the state actually has. Her additional priority was strengthening public education. [1]
The candidate answered against on Constitutional Amendment A (publishing proposed amendments on state websites) and against on Amendment B (60 percent voter approval for citizen initiatives that raise taxes). [1]
