Pelicans rally past Jazz 120-113 in overtime despite Keyonte George's 39

The New Orleans Pelicans outscored the Utah Jazz 16-9 in overtime to win 120-113 on Wednesday at Smoothie King Center, handing Utah its sixth straight loss. Keyonte George scored 39 points on 14-of-26 shooting with nine assists and four steals. ^[1][2][3]

Utah scored 43 points in the third quarter and led by as many as 13. Lauri Markkanen scored 8 points in the final 1:36 of regulation to put the Jazz up 104-100, but Zion Williamson scored on a layup and Dejounte Murray made two free throws with 6.4 seconds left to tie it at 104. George opened overtime with back-to-back step-back 3-pointers for a 110-104 lead. New Orleans then scored the next 14 points, eight of them by Saddiq Bey, and pulled away. Ace Bailey and Jaxson Hayes both fouled out for Utah. ^[1][2]
